Daniel Mayleben will join Apogee Enterprises, a developer of glass products and services, as its CIO on October 31. Mayleben, 44, most recently served as CFO of HighJump Software—a position he had held since 2003. Prior to HighJump, from 2000 to 2003, he was CFO at business planning software provider Adaytum. He also worked for Honeywell for six years in various financial management positions.
Ken Brame, AutoZone’s CIO, was appointed chairman of the Retail Industry Leaders Association’s (RILA) Technology Leaders Council. Another Ken, Ken Kaiser, was elected vice chairman of RILA’s Technology Leaders Council. Kaiser is vice president of corporate systems development at Target.
