Ex-Microsoft CIO Stuart Scott Lands at Mortgage Lender
Former CIO takes Chief Operating Officer position at Taylor, Bean & Whitaker Mortgage
CIO — Microsoft's fired former CIO Stuart Scott has resurfaced at Florida-based mortgage lender Taylor, Bean & Whitaker, according to wire reports.
Scott, who Microsoft fired early this month, will take on the role of chief operating officer at the company. "Stuart's credentials are impressive. Having someone of his caliber join us further solidifies our ability to deliver innovative technology solutions. We are very excited to have him on board," said Lee Farkas, TB&W chairman, in a release from the company.
The report goes on the note that Scott will continue to live in Bellevue, Wash., with his family.
