Grand Ole Opry operator Gaylord Entertainment Company hired Rich Maradik as its new senior vice president and CIO. Maradik reports to Gaylord Entertainment’s CFO, David Kloeppel. Among his top priorities: deploying technology to support Gaylord Entertainment’s customer management and brand integration efforts. Maradik comes to the Nashville, Tenn.-based hospitality company from SmartDM, an e-mail marketing firm he co-founded, which Acxiom acquired in January 2005.

Hall replaced Spacek when Spacek was named Gaylord Entertainment’s vice president of human resources, training, development, and corporate communications. Spacek left Gaylord Entertainment around April 2003 and later joined consultancy Nashville Management Group as a principal in 2004.
John Glaser joined the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions as a senior advisor to its Care Delivery Innovation initiative. Glaser currently serves as the CIO of Partners Healthcare. Keith Blachowiak will start his new job as SVP of IT and CIO of Pomeroy IT Solutions on March 1, 2006. Blachowiak most recently worked for Affiliated Computer Services as vice president of IT and shared services for the company’s government division. Previously, he worked for Ingram Micro.
