Supersonic Ping Pong Ball Destroys Cans

This video shows a de Laval nozzle being used to push a ping pong ball to supersonic speeds.


Some students at Purdue University made a de Laval Nozzle to accelerate a ping pong ball to supersonic speeds and did the only thing that made sense, to send said ping pong ball through 5 soda cans. Ah science!
