Jabra Extreme2 Bluetooth Headset is Sleek, Comfortable and Affordable

The Jabra Extreme2 Bluetooth headset is a comfortable, advanced earpiece that is available for the reasonable price of $80.

The Jabra Extreme2 Bluetooth Headset has a number of cutting-edge features, including the company's latest generation of noise-cancellation technology and automatic volume control.

The On/Off button for the Jabra Extreme2

The Jabra Extreme2 is an advanced headset that provides clear voice reproduction. The device doesn't feel fragile despite its small size. The “eargels” are comfortable, and two removable ear hooks help keep the gadget in place. Bluetooth 3.0 offers greater battery life, and the device gets about 5.5 hours of talk time and just over 10 days of standby time.

What I particularly like about the Jabra Extreme2 is its ability to connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. This is a particularly useful feature for those who carry more than one smartphone.

When charging, the Jabra Extreme2 headset's LED indicator shows the current charging status. A red light means the headset is less than 20 percent charged, and it changes to yellow as it recharges and then green when the device is at 70 percent charged. The green light automatically turns off when the headset is fully charged.

One complaint: the Jabra Extreme2's voice-prompt volume level is too loud, and it's frustrating that you cannot adjust the volume to a lower level.

The Jabra Extreme2 Bluetooth costs $80, which is reasonable considering the kit comes with a car charger as well as an AC charger. If you reside in the United States, you can purchase the Extreme2 headset directly from Jabra here
