Yesterday I attended Samsung's Galaxy S III launch event in New York City, where I got my thumbs on the handset maker's latest and greatest hardware and got to meet basketball legends Steve Nash and Walt Frazier, among other things.
Check out the post I published earlier today for more details on the device itself: "Samsung Galaxy S III: 8 Key Features and Facts."
Samsung did a great job with the launch event. It was interesting, fun, and best of all, air conditioned. New York City was so hot yesterday, I saw Satan himself coming out of an electronics store carrying an air conditioner, wearing a Yankees cap.
Check out the following images and video for a look at the Samsung Galaxy S III New York City launch at SkyLight Studios SoHo. (I'm particularly fond of the image of me putting in bucket off a Steve Nash pass—click the image to enlarge it and see my basketball prowess.)
