Posted on Polish webstite BBNews.pl, the reported BES 5.0 SP2 specifications reveal quite a bit of information about the upcoming BES software, including the fact that it will reportedly support three new platforms (Windows Server 2008 R2; SQL Server 2008 R2; MS Hyper-V 2008). BES 5.0 SP2 will also supposedly support higher message “pre-population” limits, so new BES activations should pull in 30 days worth or users’ past messages, up to 3000 messages.

Unfortunately, it’s still unclear exactly when RIM plans to release BES 5.0 SP2 to the BlackBerry masses. But the leaked information ought to satisfy the curiosity of some of you eager BlackBerry administrators.
