Video Game to Link to Apple's iTunes

Left Behind Games, a Christian developer of video games, will release a game in October named Eternal Forces that will link to Apple Computer’s uber-popular iTunes Music Store download service, enabling gamers to purchase songs during play, Macworld UK reports.

After a level in Eternal Forces is completed, links to iTunes appear on the screen giving the user a chance to purchase songs that can be added to their customized music lists and even listened to during game play, according to Macworld UK.

Troy Lyndon, Left Behind Games chief executive, told Macworld UK, “We believe consumers want choices and prefer interactive advertising, rather than interruptive ads. We are delighted to provide these music links as an added value to our gamers.”
