Samsung Unveils NV3, NV7, NV10 Digital Cameras

Samsung on Wednesday unveiled three new digital cameras—the NV3, NV7 and NV10—all of which are part of the company’s NV series of high-end cameras, and they each feature image-stabilization and shake-reduction technologies as well as high-quality camcorders, Forbes reports.

The $350 NV3 is a 7-megapixel camera, can play MP3 digital audio files, and is roughly three-quarters of an inch thick, according to Forbes. The $400 NV10 10-megapixel camera is the same thickness as the NV3, and it features the same 3X optical zoom capabilities, Forbes reports. Finally, the $450 NV7 OPS 7-megapixel camera, which is roughly fourth-fifths of an inch in thickness, features a 7X optical zoom, according to Forbes.

All three digital cameras are expected to be available by this coming autumn, Forbes reports.

In 2005, Samsung had only 3.8 percent market share in the global digital camera space, ranking fourth behind Canon, Eastman Kodak and Sony, according to Forbes.
