When Apple released the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, there was a great deal of appreciation expressed by artists around the world. The combination of the Apple Pencil and the iPad Pro gave artists a unique and powerful combination of tools for their creative work.
But not all of us are artists already, some of us don’t even know how to draw yet. If you’re one of those folks, and you’re dying to learn how to draw so you can use the Apple Pencil and iPad Pro, don’t worry. In this post I’ve included three great sites that will teach how to draw so you can get the most out of your Apple Pencil and iPad Pro.
Please note that these sites teach you how to draw, they do not teach you specifics about using the Apple Pencil itself. The goal here is to get started in learning how to create art so that you can then take those skills and use them via your Apple Pencil and iPad Pro.
One of these sites offers its lessons for free, while the other two offer some free stuff but also require purchases of lessons, or a membership. The first site I've listed is totally free, so I think that is a good place to start if you want to begin learning without paying for anything.
What will work for you will depend on your level of experience and what you want to learn in order to start using your Apple Pencil and iPad Pro to create art. My advice is to take things very slowly, and be very patient with yourself if you are totally new to drawing. Learn at your own pace, and don't put a lot of pressure on yourself.
As you progress, you will get better and better at drawing. And that will let you use your Apple Pencil and iPad Pro to create the kind of art that you've always wanted to do.
