Due to a reporting error, the first version of the story "Strong Mac, iPhone sales boost Apple's (AAPL) earnings" gave the incorrect day of the week on which Apple reported its earnings. The correct day is Monday. The first paragraph of the story on the wire has been fixed. The error did not appear in the update.
