Malaysia Resident Sentenced in Brokerage Hacking Scheme

Due to a reporting error the story, "Malaysia resident sentenced in brokerage hacking scheme," which was posted to the wire Tuesday, gave the wrong sentencing date. The first paragraph of the story has been corrected on the wire and now reads:

A resident of Malaysia was sentenced Monday to two years in prison on a conspiracy charge related to an international fraud scheme that hacked into online brokerage accounts in the U.S. in an attempt to manipulate stock prices, the U.S. Department of Justice said.
