Network World — SharePoint administrator, developer and infrastructure guru Jeff Jones may be the luckiest man in Vegas this week.
Is SharePoint Unstoppable, Or Mostly Smoke and Mirrors?
"I have both things I love -- SharePoint and Emily," he said Monday.
Jones is already married to SharePoint, on Tuesday, he'll add Emily.
Emily Radosevich, a dentist with a bright-light smile and perhaps the soul of an angel, agreed to combine this week's conference and the couple's wedding.
She said the combination of plans just seemed like the right idea. The couple plans a video recording of their wedding that will be posted online for their friends to enjoy.
Monday, the happy couple's luck continued, getting a private audience, photo opportunity and personal well-wishes from Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.
Later Jones Tweeted: "Just had a photo w/Steve Ballmer and my wife to be. AWESOME!!"
There was no report of a wedding gift from Ballmer, but clearly he knows what Jones loves.
Tuesday the couple is off to the family-owned and operated Elvis Chapel, where "Elvis" will sign in their ceremony.
"We don't know if we'll get the fat Elvis or the skinny Elvis, but I guess it doesn't matter," Jones said.
He then scurried off to his next SharePoint session oblivious to any prenuptial nerves.
