Juniper unveils the MX line of enterprise edge routers as an alternative to Cisco's ASR.

The low-end of the new MX line is the MX5, a 20Gbps router that features 20 Gigabit Ethernet SFP interfaces and a variety of WAN interfaces: four to eight OC-3s, two to eight OC-12s, one to four OC-48s, and eight DS-3s.
