JEFF JONES

Jeff Jones is a 20-year Security Guy, who currently works at Microsoft as part of their Trustworthy Computing group. Prior to this position, Jeff was the VP of Product Management at Network Associates, responsible for the PGP encryption, Gauntlet firewall and Cybercop intrusion detection products and, prior to that, responsible for the corporate antivirus product lines. These latest positions cap a 20-year technical career in security performing risk assessments, building custom firewalls and doing research and development focused on how to build security into operating systems (Trusted Xenix, TMach) while at Trusted Information Systems. Jeff is a frequent global speaker and writer on security topics ranging from technical to more high level, CXO-focused topics such as security TCO and metrics.
