To support its Livestrong wristband campaign, the Lance Armstrong Foundation created a central integration layer, the LAF Data Matrix, for its core systems, including accounting, customer relationship management and order fulfillment. The integration layer has made it possible to accommodate $50 million in increased sales without adding personnel, as well as reduce the cost of signing up new vendors to the campaign.
