The University of Chicago Hospitals' Comer Children's Hospital deployed a broadband wireless infrastructure that supports the use of cell phones, medical device communications two-way radios, voice over IP and laptops by hospital employees. The system ensures more reliable communication between employees, especially during emergencies when they need to be reached wherever they are in the hospital.
