As part of the project the company gave 33,500 employees who use a PC a corporate standard solution for IP-based, integrated voice and Web conferencing. The technologies have helped the pharmaceutical company improve management of its clinical trials and salespeople use them to conduct virtual meetings with customers who can't meet them face-to-face. The company has also reduced its travel costs.
