2009 Winner Profile

Haggen

  • Project Description: Haggen implemented a real-time enterprise business intelligence system. The company says it is now able to gain transactional data at the point of sale throughout the day, allowing them to shape pricing based on inventory or brand and to monitor and communicate with high-loyalty customers. Previously, Haggen was losing an estimated $1.5 million in sales due to discrepancies in selling prices between what they should be sold for and what they were selling for. With the new system, Haggen says it has cut losses by 8 percent.
