- Project Description: PricewaterhouseCoopers deployed an integrated records management system using barcodes to track and store hard-copy files and to assist with managing the retention and disposition of all records (including electronic files). With the new system, a room of 15,000 engagement files can now be inventoried within eight hours instead of 40, the company reports. In addition, since the records and tax document management systems are integrated with information flowing between systems, employees no long need to re-key data, saving approximately 6,000 work hours per year.
