- Project Description: The financial holding company launched a new investment platform, called Unified Managed Account, which integrates management of clients' assets through a single account. All of a client¿s assets managed can be tracked within one model, making adjustments as different asset managers change the client¿s portfolio in order to optimize tax and risk consequences. Over 18,000 eligible accounts amounting to more than $17 billion in assets have transitioned to the new platform, according to SunTrust. Among the results: a 24 percent reduction in the number of people needed to manage clients' accounts and a 17 percent cost savings.
