- Project Description: Tickets.com launched a new ticketing service platform, ProVenue, offering clients SaaS solutions including custom webpages for individual venues. By using 3PAR Utility Storage as the backend base for ProVenue¿s services platform, Tickets.com is able to use the ¿grow-as-you-go¿ approach, adding storage capacity only as needed and reducing storage area network, capacity, energy and floor space costs by up to 75 percent. ProVenue provides online and mobile phone user access; Tickets.com says it is the first in the industry to allow a ticket purchase on a mobile phone without having to make a phone call. ProVenue increased unique site visitors to Tickets.com by 55 percent and page views by 121 percent after its launch.
