The company created a business intelligence solution for transportation operations that provides dashboards, scorecards and ad hoc, on-demand reporting via the Web. The BI system allows users to view transportation metrics and build customized reports based on operations metrics. Since implementation, Transplace improved its monitoring of on-time delivery of promotional shipments for a large retailer, among other benefits. Customers can also reduce their overhead by having access to metrics they can use to determine if costs are in alignment with targets.
