Although world record benchmarks get a lot of publicity, benchmark workloads bear little or no resemblance to what customers are running in their own data centers. While top fuel dragsters are very fast, but dont make a very good family car. What matters to customers is 'usable performance', performance that comes into play each and every day rather than feeds & speeds on an artificial workload. This webcast will also discuss recent survey based research showing how Unix customers rate HP-UX vs. competitors in terms of performance. We will also discuss in detail recent enhancements to HP-UX to further deliver even better performance.
