Former Rolls-Royce CIO to head Harvey Nash practice

CIO recruitment specialists Harvey Nash has announced that Dr Jonathan Mitchell, formerly CIO at Rolls-Royce, will head its global CIO search practice as non-executive.

Mitchell has been a C-level IT leader for over 30 years with global organisations such as oil firm BP, pharmaceuticals manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline and lastly at Rolls-Royce, one of the UK’s leading engineering companies.

He said: “The CIO of today is fast becoming the primary driving force for transformation and reinvention amongst the world’s leading companies and he or she needs high quality partners to be successful.”

CEO of London based Harvey Nash Albert Ellis said in a statement: “Jonathan is a businessman first and foremost. His knowledge will provide expert advisory support for our clients, who will benefit from his experience of embedding technology at the heart of global, world-class organisations.”
