London Stock Exchange Group, the holding company that owns and operates both the London and Italian stock exchanges and financial information companies has announced its new CIO and COO as Chris Corrado.
Corrado joined the organisation as of yesterday and as CIO and COO will be a member of the organisation’s Executive Committee.
Corrado will be based at London Stock Exchange Group’s London headquarters.
Corrado joins the London Stock Exchange Group from MSCI, an index of equity and fixed incomes in the US. At MSCI Corrado was Managing Director, responsible for technology, data services and program management.
Corrado has been in financial services for 30 years managing technology platforms and transformational change the London Stock Exchange Group said in a statement. Prior to joining MSCI, Corrado held a variety of senior CTO roles in leading banks, including Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch and UBS. He has also worked for technology companies as CTO at eBay, CIO at AT&T Wireless, and SVP of Technology, Strategic Initiatives and Business Architecture at Asurion, the mobile technology protection company. Corrado began his career at IBM in the US.

Antoine Shagoury, Group COO, Group CIO and member of the LSEG Executive Committee, informed LSEG of his decision to leave the Group before the end of the year in order to reunite with his family in the United States.
The technology platforms at London Stock Exchange Group provide, high-speed trading, real time market data, clearing and settlement. As CIO Corrado will be providing a range of infrastructure products and services to the markets London Stock Exchange Group operates, but to a wide range of global customers, including banks, specialist trading firms and more than 40 exchanges and trading venues around the world.”
Antoine Shagoury joined London Stock Exchange Group in 2010 as Group CIO and a member of the Executive Committee. In 2012, Shagoury took on the additional role as Group Chief Operating Officer, adding Business Operations to his management portfolio. He was integral to the integration of the Group’s most complex acquisitions, including FTSE, LCH.Clearnet Group and Russell Investments’ index business.
