A new CIO 100 is underway

A new CIO 100 is being researched and compiled this summer. The full listing will become available online at the CIO100 site this autumn. If you feel your CIO and organisation is worthy of inclusion, do let us know.

The CIO 100 seeks to profile the leading 100 IT decision makers in British business and industry. We are looking to create a list of the organisations that are the most effective users of IT in order to achieve their business ambitions. 

Size does not matter, the CIO 100 won’t be judged by the biggest budget or largest number of screens, it will award organisations that are effectively improving the experience customers, workers and clients receive through IT. 

The CIO 100 is an opportunity for CIOs and their organisations to showcase the IT strategy the organisation is using to be more effective. 

The final CIO 100 will be a subjective list based on the judgement of the CIO editorial team and a panel of judges. CIO UK is a community title this will be a list that highlights the 100 most effective decision makers of 2011. From the list I’m sure we will engage in a lively and supportive debate about the CIO role, effective IT and strategies.
