Reliance Mutual has appointed experienced insurance sector professional Richard Norris as its head of IT and business change. Norris was previously IT director at Cullum Capital Ventures for more than five years, where he help migrate a significant proportion of the insurance company’s trading platforms and 90% of its desktops into the cloud. He oversaw the integration of more than 50 companies at CCV and also appeared in the 2013 edition of the CIO 100. Based in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Reliance Mutual specialises in life insurance plans for the over 50s. Norris worked in different managerial and head of IT roles at Towergate Insurance from September 2001 until February 2008.
