The CIO Summitis back for 2011and will focus on the three pillars of the CIO world: Business,  Technology and Leadership. Top CIOs sought to speak at the most important CIO event of the year and I look forward to seeing you all there.
Mark Tuesday 1st November 2011into your calendars for this full day event. For this year’s Summit we’ve chosen the Renaissance St Pancras Grand, London. This is an excellent venue for the event, towering above the Eurostar train terminal it’s an exciting blend of new and traditional.
As with last year’s CIO Summitthe team and I are putting together an event that provides CIOs with insight, advice and peer-to-peer guidance to help you drive organisational business and technology strategies.
The editorial team, the CIO Executive Council and CIOs that have committed their time are helping to produce a an event that will address the challenges of the fragile recovery and how CIOs are exploiting new strategies and technologies to deliver extra value to their businesses. There will be presentations by your peers how technology such as mobile apps and consumerisation are transforming the technology function in today’s businesses.
Some top level CIOs have already agreed to speak, including: Richard Wilson, Director IT Operations, Cable & Wireless, Andy Haywood, IT Director, Boots, Mark Hall, Deputy CIO, HMRC, Mark Thompson, IT & Marketing Director, TUI Travel Plc, Jack Cutts, Head of IT, Nottingham Building Society and Mark Leonard, CIO, Colt.
If you are a CIO and would like to present there are some places left on the speaker roster and I welcome your interest and approach. Please contact me directly
