The role is based in its head office in Alexandria, Sydney, and requires someone with strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms and the retail experience. Strong budget management, negotiation and technical skills as well as being result driven and highly involved in strategic capabilities are important qualities, the ad states. Applicants will need to have eight to 10 years’ experience in a strategic IT role and five years’ experience in a senior leadership role. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to deliver on return on investment (ROI) and budget are also need to succeed in the role. “You will be supported by a highly competent team who are great at what they do, but need a senior leader to bring them together and to implement structure and processes in decision making,” the Seek advertisement reads. “A positive and outgoing attitude, a natural ability to develop relationships and a track record of delivering results above and beyond what’s expected are all essential.” Salary for this role was not mentioned in the advertisement.
