Western Power is shifting responsibility for management of end user computing environment to Perth IT integrator, Zetta, following a three-year agreement between the companies.

Under the multi-million contract – which supersedes a similar agreement signed several years ago with CSC – Zetta will support the IT needs of 3,500 staff across Western Australia using desktops, notebooks, tablets, and smartphones.

A service delivery manager, technical team leaders and engineers will manage back-end strategy and infrastructure, and provide staff with user access, break/fix services and applications packaging.

The win follows Zetta’s recent contract to provide end user support and a service desk for around 2,500 users at the Western Australian Department of Housing.

The company also provides managed services (end user support, server and network management and a service desk) to Dampier Bunbury Pipeline.
