City of Melbourne seeks CIO

The City of Melbourne has advertised for a new CIO, with an initial three-year term for the successful applicant.

The CIO will report to the director of corporate business, and will have an operating expenditure of some $15.5 million per annum, and capital expenditure of $10 million per annum, according to the job description (PDF).

The CIO will oversee about 100 staff and “provide creative technological solutions”.

The advertisement specifiesthat the successful candidate will have “comprehensive experience with proven achievement” as well as the ability to innovate.
