Payment processing company, Ezidebit, is on the hunt for a new CIO to drive growth in its business.

The outgoing CIO, Jason Turnbull, held the position for six and a half years and is leaving to pursue “some personal goals”, according to a company spokesperson.

The CIO will overlook 20 staff in the IT team, which primarily focuses on software development and support to deliver services to internal users across Australia and New Zealand.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing technical strategies that align with the overall business, manage IT systems and services, and advise the Board on technological developments.

The CIO will be based in Newstead, Brisbane and report directly to Ezidebit chief executive, Charlie Holland.

Applicants must have a tertiary qualification and at least five years’ experience in a C-level executive or general management role.
