Australian superannuation fund, QSuper, is on the hunt for a chief information and technology officer (CITO) to oversee around 80 staff in its IT division. The role is newly created, which a QSuper spokesperson told CIO Australia is a “new variation” on a now-defunct ICT and change role. The CITO will report directly to the organisation’s chief executive, Rosemary Vilgan, and will be based in Brisbane. Please enter a valid email address Subscribe The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of ICT services and the development of a multi-year strategy plan covering ICT goals and projects. In addition, the incumbent will help transfer the dependency of information on people to systems, process, and tools to “exploit tacit and implicit knowledge and retain organisational wisdom”, according to the job advertisement. Applicants must have proven experience in a leadership role within the financial services industry, as well as carry postgraduate qualifications in computer science, information systems, or business administration.
