Vic Dept of Premier and Cabinet hunts new CIO

The Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) is calling for applications to fill the role of CIO in its ICT branch.

The role, advertised on recruitment website Seek, is full time for a fixed term of up to three years and requires a tertiary degree in a business or information management and technology related field.

“As the Chief Information Officer, you will play a key role as a senior leader within the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC),” the advertisement reads. “You will provide leadership and technical expertise to the Information Management Technology (IMT) Branch and DPC in the strategic planning and project development of information management, communication and technology initiatives to ensure DPC’s business objectives are achieved.”

The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in the latest information management and technology services and an ability to coordinate change management programs and engage with stakeholders.
