AIG, Sempra Energy, and Yale University are among several organizations that named new CIOs as the first quarter of FY17 comes to a close.

As we get ready to welcome spring and to close out the first quarter of this year, we offer hearty congratulations to these new CIOs.

Martha Gallo was promoted from chief auditor to CIO with AIG.

Kevin Chase joined Sempra Energy as CIO. Previously, Chase served as CIO and senior vice president of Technology and Supply Chain at Energy Future Holdings.

John Barden joined Yale University as associate vice president and CIO.  Previously, Barden served as CTO & associate CIO, Applications & Architecture at the University of Rochester

Abe Lietz has joined Kinder Care as Senior Vice President and CIO.  Previously, Lietz was CIO and vice president, Customer Service Operations for Curves at Jenny Craig.

Murat Ekinci joined Diebold as CIO. Previously, Ekinci served as executive vice president of managed services at Freudenberg IT.

Chuck Fitch joined ResCare as Executive Vice President and CIO. Previously, Fitch was CIO and vice president, Information Technology at the University of Louisville Physicians.

Harun Rashid joined Akron Children’s Hospital as vice president and CIO. Previously, Rashid was CIO (Children’s Hospital & Magee Women’s Hospital) at UPMC.

Jacques Chitarra was appointed CIO for Nizhoni Health. Previously, Chitarra was associate CIO for the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Jessica Denecour, senior vice president and CIO at Varian Medical Systems Inc., joined the board of directors for MobileIron.
