A recent webcast hosted by the CIO Executive Council (CEC) explored new challenges facing CIOs, including the need to work side-by-side with other business managers to transform and streamline the organization. As one CIO put it: CIOs need to “go way outside of our comfort zone,” help to reinvent the business, “ask big questions,” and focus on the ultimate customers.

The webcast conversation among the CIOs turned to a variety of topics: innovation, agility, efficiency, generating revenue, and leadership qualities such as curiosity, influence and even humor.
