Intel, Nvidia Sign $1.5 Billion Licensing Deal

Intel and Nvidia agree to end a long-standing patent dispute and license each other's patents.

Due to a reporting error, the story, "Intel, Nvidia sign $1.5 billion licensing deal," which was posted to the wire Monday, contains incorrect information about payments Intel will make. The last paragraph has been corrected on the wire and now reads:

Intel will begin making payments to Nvidia this month, with $300 million due next week. Annual payments will continue through January 2016, according to the agreement.
