Change leadership, team leadership, people development, strategic orientation, external customer focus--these and other competencies all form the well-rounded general executive leadership capability needed in business today. They are the skill portfolio of the c-suite. And they are the basis for the CIO Executive Competencies Assessment Tool.
The CIO Executive Council, a global peer advisory service and professional association of more than 500 CIOs, founded by CIO's publisher, has made available a shortened public version of the private tool available to Council membership and participants in the Council's Pathways leadership development program. Although not as nuanced, the public tool will still provide you with relative strengths across nine different competencies and compare your scores to those of others.
Use the public Executive Competencies Assessment Tool.
