FCC Net Neutrality Ruling Opens Door for Municipal Broadband

Big ISPs effectively convinced many states to bar the construction of municipally-owned broadband networks, but the FCC this week voted to do away with the roadblock. The ruling is good news for consumers, who can expect more competition and better service ... eventually.
