2015 Rings in with New CIOs at Caterpillar, Hallmark and more

The new year tends to herald some major new appointments, and 2015 is no different.

Caterpillar announced that effective January 1st, Julie Lagacy would become the company’s Chief Information Officer and vice president with responsibility for the Global Information Services Division. Julie has more than 26 years with the company.

Hallmark Cards announced the appointment of Evon Jones as Senior VP, Technology & Business Enablement. Jones will serve in a CIO capacity and will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the company’s IT strategies as well as overseeing ERP.

PepsiCo has recently appointed Majed Sarieddine Senior Vice President & CIO, PepsiCo Corporate & Global Functions. He previously held the role of SVP & CIO, PepsiCo Asia, Middle East, Africa.

Koch Industries recently promoted Lori Hotzel from Director, Business Applications to Chief Information Officer for Koch Business Solutions.

Transportation giant, C.H. Robinson, named longtime CFO Chad Lindbloom as CIO, effective January 1st, with the retirement of Thomas Mahlke. Chad will retain CFO responsibilities until a replacement is found.

WPP’s GroupM has appointed David Michael as Chief Information Officer in North America. The position is new and the firm said it would strengthen the company’s information technology operations.
