The CIO 100 Awards honor 100 companies that demonstrate excellence and achievement in IT. To be considered, submit your nomination by February 16. Credit: Thinkstock Deadline Extended to Monday, February 16 (midnight EST). Every year, the CIO 100 Awards honor 100 companies that demonstrate excellence and achievement in IT. The process for choosing the CIO 100 honorees is systematic and very competitive. We’re looking for companies that are using IT in innovative ways to deliver competitive advantage to the enterprise and enable growth. To be considered for a CIO 100 award, entrants apply using an online application that asks them to identify several different aspects of their achievement. Applications are solicited from hundreds of companies through advertising, newsletters and email. We also collect recommendations from our in-house experts, who nominate organizations which are distinguished for their innovative use of IT. We invite these nominees to apply as well. Each application will be read by two members of the CIO 100 judging panel, who will rate it on a scale of 1 to 5 for each criterion, for a possible total of 20 points. Final selections will be confirmed by CIO magazine editors. All scores will be kept confidential. They will not be released publicly, nor will they be discussed with any individual applicants. See the latest news about the CIO 100 and access the database of last year’s award winners. To purchase an application, visit the CIO Awards page and click on “new registration.” This page also contains a link to a sample application as well as information about last year’s winners. (The application fee is $75. Once you purchase the application, you’ll be sent a confirmation email containing a link to fill out the application.) CIO 100 honorees will receive their awards at our annual CIO 100 Symposium & Awards Ceremony, to be held at The Broadmoor, Aug. 9-11, 2015. Honorees will also be featured on CIO.com and in the Aug. 1, 2015 issue of CIO magazine. For any questions about the CIO 100 Awards, please contact cio100@cio.com.
