MS Office Upgrade to Support PDF Files

Microsoft said that its next version of its Office suite will be able to save documents in Portable Document Format (PDF) format. A Reuters article on Boston.com reports that the ability save documents in PDF format was  requested by more than 120,000 users every month. Portable Document Format, developed by Adobe Systems, allows users to save a file and share it with anyone using Adobe’s Acrobat Reader software. It is unclear whether there would be any extra costs involved in being able to save Office documents as PDF files, but there were hints that the feature could be included in Office for free.
