Manufacturer Hires Ex-Domino’s Pizza CIO to Head Its IT Department

Masco hired Timothy J. Monteith as its vice president and CIO.  Monteith, 52, reports to Alan Barry, president and COO of the  Taylor, Mich.-based manufacturer.  Monteith joins Masco from Domino’s Pizza where he was executive vice president and CIO.  Prior to Domino’s, he held several senior management positions with Thomas S. Monaghan Inc., including executive vice president and COO.

Variety reports that Universal Music Group (UMG) promoted Scott Belmont from senior vice president of information technology to executive vice president and CIO. Belmont replaces Joe DeTullio, who was appointed CEO of Royalty Services LP, a joint venture between UMG, Warner Music Group, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Exigen Group.  Belmont reports to UMG Vice Chairman and CFO Marinus N. Henny.

And now for some news from Down Under…

The Australian, Australia’s national daily newspaper, reports that Ian Rodgers left Primus Telecom as its CIO yesterday.  Rodgers had joined the company October 2002.  The company is looking for a new CIO.
