Here’s a round-up of IT execs who’ve been promoted or moved to new companies over the past week…Barclays is banking on Dominic Trotta as its new CIO. Trotta comes to Barclays from Citibank, where he was in charge of global technology for its retail business. Before Citibank, he worked for Chase and American Express in senior IT leadership positions. Trotta takes over from interim CIO Mike Foley, who will become Barclays’ chief administrative officer. Neil Singer connected with Atlanta-based home relocation services provider Allconnect as its new EVP and CIO. In the process, he relocated from LandAmerica Financial Group where he served as SVP of e-strategy and president of the Richmond, Va.-based company’s mortgage processing venture. Prior to LandAmerica, he was Chief Technology Officer at Homebytes, Inc and led the e-commerce development team that made homebytes.com an award winning, fully interactive, nationwide resource for real estate consumers. He has also worked for Cendant’s real estate division and for GE Capital Consumer Financial Services in senior level IT leadership positions. Please enter a valid email address Subscribe Sarah Miller continues to move up the food chain at food distributor Nash Finch. She was promoted from vice president of business processes and retail services—a position she’s held since 2003—to SVP and CIO. Miller reports to Ron Marshall, CEO of the Edina, Minn.-based company, who said in the press release announcing her promotion that she’s been instrumental in driving technical improvements and reducing costs company-wide by improving business processes across the company since she joined it six years ago. Katherine Bloomfield cashed in on her 20 years of technology and operations experience when Cash Systems hired her as its new CIO earlier this week. She joined the company, which provides ATMs, check cashing services and cash advance systems to casinos, from Visionshare. As Visionshare’s vice president of operations, Bloomfield was responsible for technical operations, product development and support, and business and information systems. Prior to joining Visionshare in 2003, she spent four years as vice president of technical operations at Stellent. Prior to Stellent, Bloomfield was a principal consultant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Art Lofton is flying high at Northrop Grumman. He was promoted to vice president and CIO of the defense contractor’s Integrated Systems sector. Most recently, Lofton served as deputy program manager of long range strike for Integrated Systems. He has also served as Integrated Systems’ director of rapid development and production processes and as its director of strategic planning. He joined Northrop Grumman in 1990 after working for both Williams International and General Motors.
