Microsoft to License Windows Source Code

Microsoft said on Tuesday that it would comply with an E.U. antitrust ruling and license its Windows source code, the Associated Press reports.

The licensing will expose the code behind the Windows operating system, and make it possible for competitors to make products comparable with Windows.
