Stephen David, former CIO and chief B2B officer at Procter & Gamble, was appointed interim CEO of Iomega Corp. on February 3, 2006.  David currently serves as chairman of the Zip drive-maker’s board of directors. He replaces Werner Heid, who resigned from his position as president and CEO of the San Diego-based company. Iomega has been struggling financially and has tried to reinvent itself with new products it has later abandoned over the past several years.

Victor Fetter was appointed CIO of Mercer Human Resource Consulting today.  He succeeds Linda Ison, who was named business process integration leader for global market development. Fetter, 37, joined Mercer in 2001 as a member of its Global IT Leadership group.  From 2002 to 2005, he was CIO for Mercer Human Resources U.K. operations and served on its board of directors. Most recently Fetter was Mercer’s Global Solutions Delivery Leader.  Before joining Mercer, Fetter lead one of Hewitt Associates global technology practices from 1996 to 2001.
