The Nasdaq stock market experienced a technical glitch on Wednesday, leading a number of closing prices for New York Stock Exchange-listed stock traded through Nasdaq that day to be incorrectly reported, according to CNET.

In a statement, Nasdaq said that it had experienced “several problems” with its reporting interface to the Securities Industry Automation Corp. (SIAC).  SIAC disseminates market data and operates electronic trading systems.

Nasdaq recommended in a statement that investors and other customers use NYSE-only closing prices for NYSE-listed stock that day.  The NYSE-only prices were reported accurately.
