Tsvi Gal (pictured at left) e-mailed me last night to let me know that he joined Deutsche Bank as CTO of its asset management business on January 3.  Most recently, he worked for Warner Music Group for over three years as its CIO. Congratulations, Tsvi!  Best of luck to you in your new role.

A Movers & Shakers reader informed me that Ford Motor Co. promoted its director of IT audit, Keith Rohland, to vice president and CIO of Volvo Car Corp.  That move seems like quite an accomplishment.  Congratulations Keith!

Another reader wrote with news of Fisher Scientific’s former VP of IT, Rory MacDowell (pictured at right). (I’ve written about Fisher Scientific previously in this blog.) Rory’s hometown in Mississippi was devastated by hurricane Katrina.  He’s spent the past six months working on recovery efforts there and has served as founder and chairman of the Hancock County Citizens Action Committee.  Now that his community is stabilized, he’s resumed his efforts to look for a new CIO job.  Prior to Fisher Scientific, he was VP and CIO at Flowserve.

Thanks to everyone who’s written to give me news of their own job changes as well as their friends’ and colleagues’.  Please keep the information flowing!
