With download speeds that surpass all but a few high-speed wireless connections, a number of new wireless companies are targeting technically proficient teenagers and young adults. The New York Times reports that companies like Amp’d Mobile, Virgin Mobile, Boost Mobile, Helio and Mobile ESPN are offering a range of new services and increased functionality for specific target markets with prices that are similar to cable television.
